PART PREVIEW / SIX-SPOKE FORGED

THE MOST COPIEDSIX SPOKE EVER MADE.

The Volk Racing TE37 is the reference point for a whole style of wheel, and the reason is the shape: a thin six-spoke face that makes an arch look full without looking busy. Whether it works on your car depends entirely on your car.

WHAT DECIDES IF IT SUITS YOUR CAR

A six-spoke reads very differently on a wide arch than on a narrow one, and the finish changes the car more than the spoke count does.

01

Finish against your paint

Bronze on white, bronze on black and bronze on a dark green are three completely different cars. The only reliable test is the finish against your actual paint in your actual light.

02

Face depth and arch gap

The same design in a deeper concave, or the same wheel with 30 mm less arch gap, changes the stance entirely. Preview it at your current ride height before you decide you also need springs.

03

The classic vs the tribute

Plenty of wheels borrow the six-spoke silhouette at a fraction of the price. Seeing the shape on your car first tells you whether you are buying the design or the badge.

TRY THE LOOK

Three minutes, four finishes, one decision.

  1. 01

Photograph the car as it sits

Current ride height, current wheels, front three-quarter. The preview is only honest if the starting point is.

  2. 02

Try the six-spoke in every finish

Bronze, gunmetal, gloss black and polished — run all four rather than guessing from a product photo on a white background.

  3. 03

    Check it against a drop

If a set of springs is on the list too, preview the wheel with and without the drop so you know which change is doing the work.

SIX-SPOKE FAQ

01Is TuningLab affiliated with Rays or Volk Racing?

No. Wheel and brand names are used descriptively so you can find the style you mean. TuningLab is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any wheel manufacturer.

02Will the preview tell me the right size?

No. It shows you how the design and finish look on your car. Diameter, width, offset and tyre size have to come from your wheel supplier, who will also know what clears your brakes.

03Can I try a wheel that is not in the catalog?

Yes. With the browser extension you can right-click a wheel image on any shop or forum page and try that exact wheel on your car.

04Does it work on a car that is already lowered?

Yes, and it is more useful there — the preview uses your current stance rather than a factory one, so the arch gap you see is the arch gap you have.
